Ecobber has developed a mechno-chemical process named DEVUN-C Technology, which uses a high-shear mill with a chemical converter to devulcanize rubber waste at ambient temperature.
Vulcanized rubber contains curative bonds that connect rubber polymer chains. The devulcanization process is designed to reduce these curative bonds, enabling rubber waste to be reused while retaining key properties and characteristics of the original rubber.

Devulcanised Rubber (DVR) can be introduced during the compound mixing stage by replacing a percentage of the original masterbatch compound. The recommended level depends on the polymer system, filler package, and end-use requirements.
