Baseline: What Happens to One Passenger Tyre

What appears to be a discarded tyre is, in reality, a reservoir of valuable resources. A typical passenger car tyre reaching the end of its service life still contains several kilograms of recoverable rubber that can be transformed into new products. Understanding the material value of a single tyre provides the foundation for measuring the environmental and economic impact of responsible recycling.
